I’m getting in a lot of solid perspective practice during this unit, which I always had trouble with in the past. It can still be very difficult, but I can feel myself improving.

I started doing 1-point perspective, straight on views because they are so much easier, especially with photoshop where you can mirror one side over to the other.

I had a lot of trouble trying to translate the shapes of the grasshopper into 3D geometric forms. I’ve seen people do really cool insect drawings like this and I’ve always wanted to learn how to do it.
