Retrospective

I had a vacation this week, so my hours were a bit reduced. It’s good to rest a little anyway before my intense summer class schedule starts on May 9th.

Drawings and Critiques

Animals as basic forms.

I had to finish up one animal from last week.

Vehicles as basic forms.

I tried to eyeball the perspective for most of these instead of plotting everything to vanishing points. Glancing over them now, the cement truck is the only one that looks really off to me. All the ellipses gave me trouble too. I feel like I know the theory of how to place an ellipse correctly in perspective, but in practice it’s always really difficult, even with Photoshop's help.
