Retrospective
I’ve really been enjoying painting environments this week. I definitely feel like I’ve gotten better at them since last semester, but I still feel a very long way from having a hirable portfolio.

Work
ENT 1
Keyframe for Robin Hood: Sherwood City.
I feel like this needs something else, but I got to the point where I didn’t know what else to do to it. It’s hard to tell what’s going on in the background, but I hope to remedy that in the next phase of the process where we design callouts from this image.
WB: SDVGD
I felt proud of this, but also felt it looked like a bad video game and I wasn’t sure how to fix it. The teacher said I should throw it away and start over with a single building. It was pretty disheartening, especially since he approved the thumbnail for it last week. I guess I need to get used to things like that. It probably will happen on the job all the time.
WB 2
Various lighting scenarios.
The main critique for these was that I need to work on my shape design.
Master Study
I finished all my homework early so I did a copy of a James Paick painting.
I probably should do a lot more of these.
