I'm learning 3D on my own. It wasn't taught in any of the classes I've taken. I started with blenderguru, and "CG Fast Track" on youtube has a beginner blender tutorial that's really helpful. Now I'm just trying to make things and googling answers when I get stuck. I'll check out the resources you mentioned. Thanks.
